The Greatest Superpower is Empathy

Being empathetic is looking at others through their lens, not ours. It is not about feeling pity for others, but to accept their feelings as valid. It’s not trying to feel like them either but, understanding what they are experiencing.

Here is a simple trick to practice empathy in our daily life. Say, if someone cuts you off traffic or passes you in the checkout line before you react.... just tell yourself that person must be rushing for an emergency or simply having a bad day.

Instead of getting angry use empathy as your superpower. This truly helps you in amazing ways.

* Prevent other people’s bad behaviour impacting you.

* Can be applied with everyone at any circumstances.

* Make you understand that it doesn’t have anything to do with you.

So next time when your friends don’t respond to your call, or your boss gives you an outburst, or someone cuts you off on road stop ✋ for second and think that they may be having a bad day.

Empathy is a Superpower — it should be practiced regularly, not occasionally.
