Our planet is in fear. But while we are seeing global messages daily to protect our physical health such as washing our hands, social distancing, many are in fear, stress, and panic. Though the seriousness of Coronavirus cannot be minimized, the panic surrounding the coronavirus is sweeping our world. Although preventive actions like closing schools, cancellation of vacations, and travel plans are for good reasons, this can also be partly explained why people are in panic mode. People are being influenced by one another and letting emotions dictate their behaviour, instead of taking a rational approach. It is due to this herd mentality, toilet paper is flying off the shelves.


Your panic and stress could make you more susceptible to this viral infection. Your emotional health is intricately linked to your immune system. Your immune system cells travel throughout your body and defend it against antigens, such as viruses.
