Our health and the health of our planet are closely interlinked

Our health and the health of our planet are closely interlinked. Both are under threat.

Our food system is broken, it produces food that harms humans and the planet. It’s both the cause and cure.

It is affecting from obesity, chronic diseases to our economy, environment, climate, poverty and many more.

The world is becoming sicker and sicker!

The root cause for most chronic disease is our industrial diet and agricultural system. Most of us don’t think much about farming, except that it’s fun to go to the farmers market on weekends. Innovation in agriculture over the last century have allowed us to produce more food than ever but at a serious cost. These methods we use to grow food are contributing to our future inability to grow food, as it depletes soil and water, creates chemical pollution (from nitrogen Fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides), destroying species including pollinators, rivers, lakes and oceans.

Our food system is also the number one cause of climate change. It had drained our natural bank account built up over millions of years (soil, microbes, water, insects).

We must treat the whole problem of health in soil, plant, animal, and man as one great subject. We can certainly avoid these issues if we take action and transform the food we grow, the food we produce and the food we eat.

Let’s restore our planet to live healthy and happy.
